Going on trips is good, but gong back home is even better, especially when i get to go see my fiance! I’m pretty excited about that.

Jenny is an old friend of mine from back in high school. she asked me to come back to Rockford to photograph her wedding. Yesterday was a wonderful. Anderson Gardens played host to a fantastic reception with family and friends.
Congratulations you two!!
I traveled to Illinois for the weekend, because I have a wedding to photograph tomorrow, for a friend from High School. It should be a most excellent time! I will get to see a bunch of old friends I haven’t seen in a long time. I’m really pretty excited.I went to the Apple store this morning, thinking I was going to wait in a short line with my brother and friend, for them to get the new iPhone 3g. Four and a half hours later, we went through the doors and they were on their way to getting their new phones.I thought about getting the new phone, but decided against it. Thank goodness for an awesome fiancee who likes to talk me out of ipulse purchases. I really am thankful for that!I opted instead to get a new case for my phone and now I feel like I have a new phone. It’s a white case. Nice and clean. Let’s hope it stays that way. Sometimes all we need is a little freshness in our life. I feel like a new man, with a cool new phone. It’s totally superficial, I know. But fun.
… and my future wife.Lora said “YES!” when I asked her to marry me - June 12th, 2008.The wedding… Charlottesville, Virginia on December 28,2008.Life is crazy, but amazing! Busy, but worth every minute! Thanks for being a part of this with us.
I was in Colorado for the Athletes in Action Ultimate Training Camp, taking pictures for them. Though it was relaxing, it was a lot of work, trying to get pictures on my computer, edited and to the team. We went go carting, putt putting, and laser tagging one night.
there was volleyball lab time.
and then the SPECIAL
I just got home from my 7th wedding in the last 32 days. I have a few weeks off from the weddings, but will be leaving on Wednesday for Colorado for 10 days.
That’s all I can say. It’s been a great time, but I’m ready to go to bed for a couple days!
Stay tuned
Napa Valley was a beautiful location for a wedding, even though there was rain the whole time, except for when we were shooting some portraits.
This wedding was in January, which means I am a little behind on my posting. Several other weddings have occurred since this one, so more will be coming in the next few days.
Until then, enjoy these!

It’s been so long since I have written on here. I am sorry for that. I would imagine that the two or three people that used to follow my life have since stopped due to my absence from the world wide web.
I think I’m back now.
Enjoy!
I was in my office today and just happened to pick up my friend’s latest issue of The Knot and found one of my images from a wedding last year. If you are near a book store that would have the magazine, check it out. The photo is on page 219. So, go check it out.
The wedding was Margaret and John’s at Oakencroft Vineyard and Winery, here in Charlottesville, Virginia. I documented their wedding when I was with Holland Photo Arts.
